LINUX
- Go to the Terminal and type the command,
- uname -i ---- Tells the Processor Architecture
WINDOWS
Solution 1:
- Open System by clicking the Start button , right-clicking Computer , and then clicking Properties .
- Under System , you can view the system type.
Solution 2:
Refer the PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE value which can be found in Windows Registry at this location:
- start -> run -> regedit,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Environment.
This value on my 32-bit Intel machine is x86 and on another 64-bit machine with Intel Xeon processor is AMD64.
